ONIQ and SAP announce strategic partnership to connect enterprise process transformation with manufacturing operations

Partnering

COLOGNE/WALLDORF,  June 24, 2026. ONIQ and SAP today announced a strategic partnership that pairs SAP Signavio's enterprise process intelligence and transformation management capabilities with ONIQ's Manufacturing Excellence Software. The partnership enables industrial customers to translate enterprise-wide transformation initiatives directly into measurable improvements in production.

Closing the gap between enterprise transformation and the shop floor

Traditional process intelligence and business transformation tools have evolved rapidly around data from enterprise business systems, but their reach typically ends at the shop floor. Much of this established toolkit does not transfer cleanly into manufacturing, where production processes are inherently complex, fundamentally different in nature, and rest on an entirely different data foundation.

Production management, in turn, often lacks a structured way to connect operational work to its strategic context. The result is a structural gap that holds back end-to-end process optimization: no single source of truth combining enterprise-wide transparency with the depth required at the production level, and improvement work that has to bridge disconnected systems and data layers.

Integrating SAP Signavio and ONIQ

The partnership addresses this gap through a bidirectional integration of the two solutions. ONIQ provides an intelligence layer that brings together production data across machines, orders, product structures, and material flows into a live Digital Value Stream. This operational context powers Lean-based performance analysis, scenario simulation, and AI agents that can recommend targeted actions based on how production actually runs.

From ONIQ to SAP Signavio, the insights, KPIs, and recommendations generated on this foundation, along with the underlying model of how production runs, flow directly into SAP Signavio's process and transformation layer, giving enterprise teams direct visibility into how their initiatives translate into production. From SAP Signavio to ONIQ, strategic priorities and business KPIs feed back into the ONIQ platform’s Continuous Improvement and Manufacturing Excellence features, so improvement work on the shop floor stays aligned with enterprise goals.

From enterprise goals to production results

For industrial customers, the partnership creates a truly continuous link between strategic initiatives and tangible improvements in production for the first time. Performance targets and deviations become traceable from the strategic level down to the underlying production processes. Transformation decisions can be grounded in a connected understanding of how production actually works rather than in isolated data points, while AI agents on both sides gain the context they need to operate across enterprise and production processes.

"By connecting ONIQ's manufacturing intelligence with SAP Signavio's process transformation capabilities, we give industrial customers a continuous line of sight from corporate initiative to the shop floor and back. This helps manufacturers link transformation priorities to the operational changes needed to make them work in practice." — Yvonne Therese Mertens, CEO, ONIQ

"Manufacturers increasingly need value stream analysis alongside traditional process mining to see the full picture of their operations. Our partnership with ONIQ delivers exactly that - giving customers decisions grounded in real production logic.” —  Alessandro Manzi, Head of Product Management, SAP Signavio
